Hard to believe that this year has almost slipped by already….

We wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Here’s hoping

your day consists of nothing but great food, a warm environment, close friends and family,

and more food, maybe some football, and more food, maybe a nap on the couch or that oh so comfortable easy chair,

and maybe one more pice of pie….

 And while we’re enjoying all the food and camaraderie, Let’s not forget to take a moment and give thanks to and for, all the men and women in our armed forces that are not at home with their own friends and families, while they are protecting our butts somewhere in this world, as we are enjoying this holiday with our families and friends…

Before you know it, Christmas and all that it entails, will be grabbing our attention. While we all get ready for this wonderful holiday, let’s not get carried away with spending. Please, remember why and what you are celebrating.

With that, I’ll close with this; Help Portrait 2011 - December 10th at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2222 and MoPac. 8:00 until 4:00.  If you are a photographer, makeup artist, hairstylist, or want to be one of these, or are just curious…. Come on out and see what volunteering for a worthwhile one day event can do for your self esteem, your outlook on life in the Austin area, and what it does to your heart.
